Bugs

From Palia Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Bugs can be found all around the world of Palia, with some hiding in trees, under rocks, or within Gatherables. Bugs require a Belt and Smoke Bombs to be caught. Different bugs can be caught in different Biomes, and some bugs will only spawn at certain times. Players can keep track of which unique bugs they have caught in their Accomplishments menu. Bugs are required for certain Bundles and can be Gifted to villagers. Star quality bugs can be used to customize the player home, and appear as a small terrarium with the respective bug inside.

Insects can be found all over Palia and will appear at different times of day with a variety of behaviors. Astute catchers will need to learn when and where their marks lurk in order to best chase and trap them.

Notes and Tips

  • Although insects are immune to the effects of additional smoke bombs until their stunning vanishes, you can effectively block a bug by continuing to throw smoke bombs while it is stunned, although this strategy can be expensive as it requires a large number of smoke bombs.
