About
According to human mythology, the Phoenix lived in the Land Beyond the Veil before the Maji, the Great Dragon, was born. [1] She created the man just as Maji created Majiri. Humans worshipped and prayed to Embra.[2] She was thought to have deceased along with the Humans after their destruction, however it is likely she was sleeping or waiting, watching from another dimension. It seems she is responsible for the Human re-emergence, as many humans have heard a comforting female voice from the void before they reappeared in Palia in front of the Phoenix Shrine.
Embra is associated with Ignus, one of Palia's two moons, which is also known as the Phoenix Moon. Ignus is a fiery moon prone to volcanic eruptions. Ancient Humans used to decipher the moon's flashes for messages from Embra. [3].
Decor
The Phoenix's likeness can be found all over Palia, including shrines, furniture and other forms of decoration.
