Emotes

Emotes are a mechanic in Palia that allows players to express themselves.

How to Obtain

Most emotes are unlocked by default, and can be used from the start of the game. Other emotes can be purchased from the Premium Store using Palia Coins.

User Interface

The center button shown here is the Collections Tab.

To access your emotes, navigate to the Collections tab of the Player Menu.

The Emotes tab shows the Emote Wheel on the left and the list of available Emotes on the right.

The list of Emotes is separated into two tabs: Default and Premium.

Emote Wheel

The Emote Wheel allows players to customize their own set of emotes for quick access in the game. Currently, the Emote Wheel can hold up to 8 different Emotes. To change the currently accessible emotes on the Emote Wheel, click and drag emotes from the list of emotes onto the Emote Wheel.

How to Use Emotes

While in the game, the Player can express themself by using one of the 8 emotes they have chosen to add to their Emote Wheel.

To access the Emote Wheel, press and hold the corresponding hotkey, then hover over the desired action.

Mechanics

An example of the chat message that appears after using the Roll the Dice Emote.

Some Emotes come with a special mechanic, such as an animation from a Pet or a chat message.

• Some pets react with an animation when using the Trick Emote or the Sit Emote.
• When using the Roll the Dice Emote, a chat message appears with the numbers the Player has rolled.
