While some activities and vendors are mainstays, different events will bring with them their own unique touches to dazzle visitors, young and old alike.
The market's name derives from Maji, the dragon god of the Majiri. It is said that Maji observes the celebrations from the comfort of his own realm. Some even believe he assumes different physical forms to partake in the events himself, to bless them with good fortune. That is why it is common for Maji Markets to carry items bearing his semblance. Perhaps seeing himself reflected in festive objects fills him with much Oneness.[1]
During this cooperative minigame, Players race to capture randomly appearing chapaas and return them to the pen to earn tickets. This time-limited game is active from 12:10 a.m. to 2:10 a.m. Palia time.

During the annual Luna New Year event, the Market boasts the best tile-matching game in Kilima: Hotpot!
Gather your friends and party-up to snap some pics at all the best photo op locations… you might find a totally normal Human Standee… minding its own business… probably doing big business…
During this cooperative minigame, Players work together to shoot chapaa balloons and earn tickets! This time-limited game is active from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. Palia time.
Each iteration of the Maji Market brings in new quests and villager interactions. Make sure to talk to everyone at the market, not all the villagers are able to make it every time.
By participating in the event, Players can complete Stamp Cards for exclusive rewards and tickets. These refresh during every iteration of the Market.
Starting in Version 0.184, the format of the Maji Market changed so that it appears at the Fairgrounds every 4 weeks. However, this schedule may be interrupted by other events (such as Luna New Year). Below is a table of future dates for the monthly Maji Market!
