Ogopuus are a huntable creature type in Palia.

“	The Ogopuu is a feisty one and is the first creature in Palia that will hit you back, but in our own cozy way. When alerted, the Ogopuu can spit sticky slime at you, slowing your ability to move in the map. Not only that, but the Ogopuu are beefy and will require a number of arrows to take down. We recommend Fine arrows and a party.	”

Ogopuus, like Shmoles and various other Elderwood creatures, can be infected with Infected Essence.
