New Features & Updates

New Decorative Crops and Fairytale Decor

As the harvest winds down and the fields turn golden, there's a new way to celebrate the treasures of the season to your plots. Decorative crops can now be purchased for Medals at the Gardening Guild store, perfect for those who love the look of thriving fields without using precious gardening plot space.

You can choose from charming Planterlife varieties like Cotton, Tomato, Blueberry, Apple, Peppers, Nappa Cabbage, and Beans. There's also a Planterlife Dirt Pile that lets you slot your favorite crop right into it. These decorative crops can also be placed directly into the ground or displayed in the planters and pots introduced in Build 0.194, giving you plenty of flexibility for your fantastic fall designs. Additionally, the items that can go into a flower pot can also be placed into a dirt pile, allowing for even more creative combinations.

We hope these new additions will help you bring the beauty of the bountiful season to your plots.

Bulletin Board: The Bounty Donation Drive Bundle

 Chayne is hosting a special charity drive to celebrate the season of harvest and gratitude and is inviting all Palians to join in!

As fall gives way to the chills of winter, you can lend a hand to those who need it most in Kilima by donating to each of the four categories on this month's Bulletin Board: crops, shelf-safe foods, supplies (including fabric, leather, iron bars, etc), and furniture from the Homestead Collection.

 Tish has a special thank-you for those who help out, gifting Floors and Wallpapers fit for a fairytale. While these item bundles and rewards will only be available through this patch, the rewards are planned to return in the future.

Join the drive, spread kindness, and enjoy the feeling of giving as the season of thanks draws near!

Interactive Furniture items: Kilima Village

Sit, stay a while, and soak up the scenery! You can now sit on benches all around Kilima and soak in the view. While the sitting functionality is currently only available in Kilima, more cozy seating opportunities are planned for other areas in the future.

So pull up a seat, take in the sights, and bench-mark some of the best views in town!

The Great Palian Potluck: Community Event

It’s time to gather 'round the table, the newest community event "The Great Palian Potluck" is upon us! From November 4th to November 11th, players can take part in this week-long celebration of food, friendship, and the end of the harvest season. Throughout the event, players across Palia will work together to cook a community-wide goal of 20 Million delicious dishes, using ingredients gathered through gardening, foraging, ranching, fishing, hunting, and of course, cooking!

Join your friends for Cooking Parties, or whip up your favorite recipes solo, and help reach community milestones to unlock snazzy seasonal rewards.

Keep an eye out for milestone updates shared across our Official Discord server and our social media channels as Palia fills with the scent of celebration.

We put in a lot of work this cycle to clean things up across Palia. Tons of bugs were fixed, and we have listened to player feedback to make improvements in lots of areas to help everything run smoother and feel better to play.

Gameplay

• Fixed an inconsistency in the visual growth stages for newly introduced flowers and bushes.
• Fixed an issue where the user was unable to access the Search bar in the Auto-crafters.
• Fixed an issue where the Search function did not work in the Modification Bench.
• Several Daily Quests were fixed to now work properly and added back into the pool.
• Resolved an issue where party loot was not functioning correctly in the live environment.
• Resolved a multiplayer issue where Bees would disappear from other players' perspectives after interaction.
• Resolved an issue on Nintendo Switch where the Action Bar tutorial text was cut off at the bottom of the screen.
• Fixed minor typos in  The Gardener Quest dialogue and text.
• Fixed an issue where players using a controller could sell unsellable items at stores.
• Resolved an issue where Echo-Infected Flowtato did not properly reward the intended infected essence upon collection.
• Resolved an issue where some Rare Forageable items did not include the tag required to count toward daily quest progress.
• Fixed an issue where the Tasty Trait Treat was consumed even if the animal already had a scaling trait.
• Fixed an issue where the Prismfish Plush was dropping more often than intended.
• Fixed an issue where the "Come Here" emote could be used on top of the Ormuu animal model.
• Fixed typos in the loading screen tips.
• Fixed a grammatical typo in  Kenyatta's intro dialogue during the Strong Foundations quest.
• Fixed an issue where pressing the key while in the community menu would fail to return the player to gameplay.
• Fixed a minor issue where the Potato Pod Bag icon was offset in the News tab UI.
• Fixed an issue where the player was required to select the key several times to close the Animal Roster and Breeding Menus.
• Fixed a minor icon spacing issue during the Achievements celebration screen.
• Resolved a visual issue where fences placed behind the barn lacked collision.
• Fixed an issue where the Whitestone was incorrectly referencing the sell value.
• Fixed an issue where the Diva Trait was not correctly applying its intended effect on Focus depletion.
• Fixed an issue where the Goobi's cosmetic flowers did not correctly count toward the Deep Pocket trait requirement.
• Resolved an issue where some players were unable to complete a trade transaction.
• The arm of the playable character no longer behaves erratically after petting an animal while in multiplayer.
• The "Goobi" pets now display a proper icon in the Inventory menus.
• Daily Quests can no longer be completed when the User drags the required item from the Storage to the Inventory.

Housing & Decor

• Fixed an issue where Juniper flowers could not be picked up if they were placed on building block assets.
• Fixed an issue where Spooky Spectral Blossoms did not correctly count against the flower limit on housing plots.
• Smaller beds now allow interacting for lying down from both sides.

Social

• Resolved a stability issue causing the game to crash when profanity filter responses were displayed.

Accounts, Character Creation, Collections, and Wardrobe

• Fixed an issue that prevented the player from jumping or gliding after using certain tools.

Premium Cosmetics

• Swapping between variants of the Heavenly Creatures outfits no longer makes slight changes to the Player's character model.
• Your character is no longer making a cameo on the Landscapes preview in the Premium Store.

• Photos taken with the camera are currently not being saved when pressing the "Save to Album" button.
• Environmental lighting is slow to update for several seconds after changing housing plot landscapes.
• The water texture is missing from the lake and waterfall in Elderwood Cavern.
• The Potato Pod book is not appearing for the Rasquellywag's Riches quest.
• A specific Blueberry garden decor asset is displaying an incorrect model.
• Visual issues are affecting the Blueberry decor and crop assets when viewed from a distance.
• Wallpapers applied to the Alchemist Cottage may tile more heavily on the foundation than on the wall.
• Star Quality items revert to normal quality when they are withdrawn from the Bundle Board.
• Assets visually disappear from the screen when zooming out of the top-down housing plot view during the introductory experience.
• The petting animation for Bees looks incorrect from other players' perspectives.
• The player character disappears for visitors after interacting with an Ormuu.
• Pekis may occasionally display the milk production icon instead of the egg production icon
• Footstep sounds stop playing when players walk across the seam where two specific housing plot cubicle rooms connect.

Other Issues

• Spooky Candles do not currently show a placement preview when placing them on the plot
• Wallpapers may not apply to some walls on the Harvest House
• On consoles, players may unintentionally navigate away from the Pen Selection menu while in the Animal Roster.
• The content preview video may present some screen tearing
• When trying to place ceilings, the placement preview may flicker between valid and invalid positions in all buildings, including the Alchemist and Harvest Houses.
• When inspecting animals, the camera may not transition smoothly
• Roof decor can be picked up in top-down mode, but they won’t visually highlight when selected.
• Unconstructed cottages may not attach to all sides of a finished cottage at the same time.
• The action bar UI may sometimes disappear while performing actions on your housing plot. Entering and exiting chat will return the action bar UI.
• Placing a building or cottage directly on top of your character may not teleport your character out of the way.
• Floor building blocks can be difficult to place properly inside interiors.
• Some Farmhouse Decor objects cannot be moved while in top-down view.
• When donating an animal, the "Donate" button displays focus points from the last food fed to animals.
• No requirements are shown to purchase the Alchemist assets.
• Some requests do not display in the From Community, From Party or From Others tabs.
• Wall decor placed in doorway cutouts does not return to your inventory, however, they can be picked up and sent to inventory through placement mode.
• For Gardener Gifting, the various Millipede gift hints may incorrectly reference a different insect.
• Alchemist Roof Trim 3 may show materials bleeding through its surface.
• Selecting the "Return Home" button during a Home Tour may send you back to your own plot instead of ending the tour.
• When four cottages are connected in a square, stairs may reject placement towards the center of the cluster.
• Some players may experience crashes when using certain fast travel points in Bahari.
• In rare cases, players may find that chat messages don’t appear after sending, and messages from other players are not visible (only system notifications show up).
• The Phoenix Shrine cinematic may not play as intended.
• Placeholder textures appear at the bottom of the ponds in Serenity Falls
