Rockhopper Pumpkin Seed can be purchased from  Tamala's Potion Store for 500 Infected Essence.

Crafting

Once the Player has obtained the recipe for the Seed Collector, four Rockhopper Pumpkin Seed can be crafted by using 1 Rockhopper Pumpkin.

Crafting the seed takes 1 hour and 40 minutes.

The Rockhopper Pumpkin Seed can be planted in soil. Unlike most crops that occupy only one tile in a soil plot, a pumpkin patch has a soil plot size of 2x2 (4 tiles).

The plant is first harvestable after 9 in-game days, yielding 2 Rockhopper Pumpkin (3 pumpkins with the bonus yield from the Harvest Boost buff). It can be harvested 3 more times after 2 days each time (days 11, 13, and 15).

The Rockhopper Pumpkin Seed consumes 4 units of fertilizer per in-game day (one per tile it occupies), and can hold up to 99 units of fertilizer.

The Rockhopper Pumpkin Seed gives adjacent crops the Star Quality buff, which boosts the chance of getting Star Quality harvests from adjacent crops. To obtain any buffs from other crops, the Rockhopper Pumpkin Seed needs to be placed near 2 crops that give the same buff. These crops can be placed anywhere around the bush to give the desired buff.
