Not sure I'm doing this right, but I noticed the Mottled Gobi is not on the list of fish table. When I went to edit that I saw that the table automatically updates but I have no idea how to make sure the appropriate page and categories are set up for the Mottled Gobi to show up in the list.

I figured you'd know how to do that being a heavy contributor to this wiki and that you're already actively working on the fish (Saw your work in progress comment ^^).

I know this a extra step to ask, but If you do indeed fix it, I'd love an explanation ^^ I'm a very novice wiki editor on Fandom just self learning the coding so I'd appreciate the experience :)

(I also apologize if this is not the right place to ask this, I didn't see any discussion page or like a page comments section (like Fandom has), and I'm also not a big discord fan ;w;)

Hi! Welcome to the wiki, and thanks for letting me know about the issue! No worries about asking it this way. :D

I couldn't figure out what the problem was and how to solve it. Mottled Gobi wasn't showing on [[:Category:Fish]] either, while the Mottled Gobi page did have that category. [[Template:List/BasicFish]] looked to be correct too. I tried purging the template page, the category page and the Mottled Gobi page. Sometimes purging a page can be the solution if certain things are missing (purging might sound scary, but it's a very simple and harmless process. You can find it by clicking "More" in the top right corner next to the search bar, then "Purge Cache"). 

I passed it on to the wiki channels in the Discord server to ask the admins. One of them performed a blank edit (so clicking edit, then saving the page). Mottled Gobi also had the "Expansion Depth Limit Exceeded" hidden category, which I didn't notice (if you want to, you can go to your preferences to have pages show hidden categories). Something probably went wrong after the last edit, but it's not known what. At least it's fixed now! ^^ 

If you have any other questions about editing, feel free to ask! I'm not an admin, neither do I consider myself an expert (this issue with Mottled Gobi also taught me something new), but I'd like to think I can help with a lot of things. :)
