Zeki's Lucky Catch is a shop run by  Zeki and found at the Fairgrounds only during the Maji Market event. It is located directly south of Kenyatta's Chapaa Hut and across from Delaila's Sweet Treats. It can be identified by its wagon with pink awnings and Grimalkin sign on its roof. There are several baskets filled with taiyaki on display near the register and Zeki's Claw Machines on either side of the stand.

Services

Zeki's Lucky Catch sells a variety of food items, wallpapers and a basket decor that are only available during the Maji Market event.

Like other Consumables, the taiyaki items can be used to gain focus. When purchasing a taiyaki item, there is a chance the Player will receive a Starred version of the item, which can be placed as decor on the Player's Housing Plot.

For 1 Claw Machine Token, players are able to play Zeki's Claw Machine and pull a random Li'l Plushie. These machines are available on either side of Zeki's booth.

Known Issues

The Palia developers announced on their Discord server on 23rd February 2024 that there was an issue in which players are unable to obtain Starred versions of taiyaki, and this bug would be unable to be fixed in time before the Lunar New Year Event was over. This issue also extended to hotpot items acquired from Reth's Street Specialties. They said they were looking for ways to grant it to players after the fact, that this has not been sorted yet, that more details of how this will be handled will be shared in a future notice, and that in the meantime, anyone logging in from Feburary 22nd to February 27th would receive:

•  1 New Year Lucky Wish Tree
•  1 Chapaa Hut Neena Plush
• 4 Lucky Coins
