Introduction
Upon reaching Romance Level 4 with Jina, a letter in the mail will arrive from her, written:
Dear (Player),
Hey, so I know it was kinda weird how I just ran off after I gave you my pin. It's just, you see, uh, Hekla's been really clingy since I started hanging out with you, and uh, I just want to spend some time just the two of us, but I'm afraid I'll hurt her feelings and...I don't know what to do, I'm sorry to bother you with this letter. Pretend I didn't say anything.

- Maybe you could try talking to Hekla?
- Jina
- Shhh. Keep it down. She's gonna hear you.
- And no, I don't want to talk to Hekla about being too clingy. I'm all she has! She's gonna lose it.
- Maybe if she had something else to nurture things would be different.
- Player
- Like a plant?
- Jina
- You know, maybe she might like some seeds and gardening tools?
- That might help her keep her mind off me for a bit.
Upon delivering the seeds to Hekla.
- Player
- Jina and I wanted you to have this.
- Hekla
- Implements for gardening? Is my Jina unsatisfied with the sustenance I have been providing her?
- Player
- No, it's a hobby.
- Hekla
- A hobby? What use would I have for one of those? Watching my Jina is the only thing I need.
- Still, it is rude to refuse a gift... and I suppose a variety of vegetation will be good for her.
- Player
- I mean, she eats a LOT of mushrooms.
- Hekla
- They are her favorite, and my Jina deserves her favorites.

Jina and Hekla each send you a letter with the next mail delivery.
Reading Hekla's letter will trigger the Talk to the Blacksmith quest.
Dear (Player),
Ugh...the gardening plan kind of backfired. Hekla overwatered her plants and killed them in record time. I guess there's no hope of privacy for us anytime soon.

Dear (Player),
My Jina has been acting rather cranky lately. I have just wracked my runes over what could be the problem, and I have come to the conclusion that it's you! She gave you a pin and you have not done the civil thing by reciprocating her affections! Go to Sifuu to learn how to make her a pin or end your courting at once!
