The Striped Chapaa is a huntable creature in Palia.
Description
The Striped Chapaa is a small, four-legged animal with black eyes, an orange body with black stripes, and a flat, beaver-like tail.
From a distance, Striped Chapaas are much darker in colour than the brighter Spotted Chapaa.
Location
- Kilima Valley (rare)
- Bahari Bay (common)
Behavior
Chapaas will casually roam the areas they are native to. When approached by the Player, they will run away, then burrow and disappear.
Hunting
Striped Chapaas have 30 Health and require two hits with Standard Arrows or above to be felled.
Drops
- You will always receive Fur when you successfully hunt a Striped Chapaa.
- You will always receive at least one Chapaa Meat.

- In Bahari Bay, several adjustments have been made to the higher-tier Chapaas to make hunting here more rewarding for higher level hunters.
