How to Obtain

Tomato Plant Seed can be purchased from the General Store for 80 Gold.

Crafting

Once the Player has obtained the recipe for the Seed Collector, Tomato Plant Seeds can be crafted in quantities of 2 using:

• 3 Tomato

Crafting the seeds takes 30 minutes.

Obtain the Recipe

The recipe for the Seed Collector can be purchased from the Gardening Guild Store for 1,000 Gold upon reaching Gardening Level 5.

Crafting and placing a Seed Collector on the Player's Housing Plot automatically unlocks the recipe for Tomato Plant Seed.

Reward

Tomato Plant Seeds can be obtained as a reward from  Badruu upon reaching Gardening Level 5.

Soil Plot Size

The Tomato Plant Seed can be planted in soil, and has a soil plot size of 1x1 (1 tile).

Harvest Time

The Tomato Plant Seed takes 4 in-game days to fully grow into a Tomato plant, which can then be harvested. After the first harvest, it can be harvested three more times after 2 in-game days each time (day 6, 8, and 10).

One harvest yields 2 Tomatoes. If the Tomato plant has the Harvest Boost buff, it will yield 3 Tomatoes.

Garden Buff

The Tomato Plant Seed gives adjacent crops the Water Retain buff. This means the adjacent crops will stay hydrated.

To give the Tomato Plant Seed any buffs from other crops, it needs to be placed near 1 other crop. This crop can be placed anywhere around the Tomato plant to give the desired buff.

Tomato Plant Seeds do not give a buff to the same seed.

Fertilizer

The Tomato Plant Seed can also get a buff by applying fertilizer. The seed consumes 1 unit of fertilizer per in-game day, and can hold up to 99 units of fertilizer.
