Flooded Fortress is a location in Bahari Bay in Palia.

Description

The Flooded Fortress is an area in the west of the Bahari Bay map. It's easily recognisable as the semicircle of ruins at the end of the Ancient Aquaduct, and is dominated by ancient human ruins. In the center of the area, a broken, bridge-like structure is places approximately in the contiuation of the aquaduct, connecting the two concentric semicircles that form the main structure of the fortress. Within the smaller semicircle, a big human building called the "Sunken City" has been built. While the building is hard to access due to its partial destruction, it can be entered using a glider and coming over the broken bridge-like structure. Often, Brightshrooms can be found growing on some of the ruins in the Flooded Fortress.

At the other end of the bridge-like structure, the ancient human wall has been opened, allowing players to access the fortress from within the Pavel Mines. The regular entrance to the Flooded Fortress is through the northern half of the Bahari Bay, a door similar to the connection between the two areas north and south of the aquaduct allows entrance to the fortress.

As the name "Flooded Fortress" suggests, the center of the flooded fortress area is filled with deep and shallow waters containing several fishing areas. These fishing areas are part of the Bahari Rivers biome, despite not having a direct connection to the see and thus at first seeming to be one of the ponds. The waters are lined with small, sandy shores on which a variety of crabs and snails can be found. During the Evening and Night (6:00 PM - 3:00 AM), several Vampire Crabs Vampire Crabs spawn within the area, making it a good spot to get silk. The outer semicircle of the fortress' walls is mostly built upon cliffs, on which mining nodes and various forageable plants can be found.
