Found around the Flooded Fortress in Bahari Bay during the evening and night.
Location
Vampire Crabs can be found exclusively on the beaches surrounding the Flooded Fortress between the hours of 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM.
Behavior
Vampire Crabs can be differentiated from regular Bahari Crabs by their black shells and bright red appendages.
They are startled by nearby player movement and Smoke Bombs, and will attempt to flee in a straight line before burrowing into the ground. The Vampire Crab is much faster than normal Bahari Crabs and does not stop moving once alerted, so one recommended strategy is using Sticky Smoke Bombs to slow down it down.
Vampire Crab grants between 0 - 7 Silk Thread when caught.
