Hairy Millipedes are fairly easy to spot along the forest floor thanks to their dark red fur.

How to Obtain

Bug Catching

Hairy Millipedes can be found at any time of day throughout the fields and forests of north Bahari Bay, including the Flooded Steps, Proudhorn Pass, the Thorny Thicket, the Statue Garden, and The Outskirts.

Behavior

They are alerted by player movement and Smoke Bombs, and will attempt to flee. Although the Hairy Millipede moves in a straight line, it is quite fast and will disappear if it is not quickly dazed. Players should continue to throw additional Smoke Bombs as the Hairy Millipede attempts to escape, as it does not stop moving once startled.
