Hassian is a romanceable Majiri resident of Bahari Bay in Palia. He is affiliated with the Hunting Hunting skill, and travels to Kilima Village daily.

Appearance

Hassian is an adult Majiri with a lithe, toned build and average height. He is about the same height as the ▲-bodied player and slightly shorter than the ▼-bodied player. His skin is a slightly dark shade of orchid, with the highlights of his forearms, face, and ears being a lighter lavender. His face is slightly more rectangular than square with high, pronounced cheekbones, a sharp jawline, and a pointed chin. This bridge of his nose flares into his wider nostrils the tip is slightly upturned. His eyes are a bright green in game with no visible lash lines, though the official art presents the color as a more golden yellow. He has a hoop piercing in the brow of his left eye and a gently creased brow line. The general smoothness of his skin and the lack of visible wrinkles make him appear to be one of the younger adults, probably of similar age to the players and other young adult NPCs. His brows are thick and dark like his hair, usually giving off an air of disinterest or annoyance. His hair is a dark bluish purple and worn in tight dreadlocks that are accented with various silver hoops/bands. He wears it to about chin length, though there are shorter dreads that frame his face, particularly those parted to the right side and slightly obscuring his right eye. His skin looks more smoothed with no visible facial hair or other body hair present on his forearms like other NPCs, but he does have a very visible tribal looking tattoo that covers his right shoulder. His ears are longer and shaped like more traditionally elven ears with sharp points that angle upward slightly.

Hassian's clothing looks lightweight and patchworked with a hunter aesthetic. It consists primarily of a fitted corset-shaped green leather shirt with brow accents in the front and secured with light brown button loop closures. It also features a built-in crimson colored hood that matches the color of his pants and attaches just above the collar bone at the front of the shirt with brassy metallic u-shaped clasps. His bow-arm (right) is sleeveless and the left arm has a mostly hidden green sleeve to cover his bicep. His hips have added winged panels of additional green leather that are accented at the outer edges with beige ormuu fur detailing. The whole of the chest piece is trimmed with navy blue. His left shoulder sleep is covered by a single matching navy blue pauldron, also lined with ormuu fur like the chest piece. Additionally, his left forearm bears a curved navy blue leather wrist guard and glove, while the right is unobstructed except for a silvery arm bangle on his bicep and a strap of navy leather on his wrist. His pants match the hood in a crimson and are worn loose and puffed slightly until they tuck into dark blue cuffed leather boots with a dark brown body over the foot. They bear scuffs and stitch marks, with a wide navy leather strap and metal buckle that matches the clasps of his hood. The boots stop at the base of his knee. Over his shirt he wears a small round metallic device, possibly some kind of tracker for animals that hangs from his right pocket. On his back, he carries a navy blue leather arrow quiver trimmed with brown leather and his handmade bow.

  • Sifuu Profile.png Sifuu tells the player during one of the weekly wants rotations that Hassian often forgets to eat. She reveals in the same conversation that Brightshrooms were always "one of his favorite" snacks.
  • [Romance Level 1 Unique Dialogue] When speaking to Sifuu about "courting her son," she lists some of Hassian's dislikes to the player including the game of roundball.
  • Hassian claims to have trained himself to be indifferent to cold temperature.
  • Sifuu Profile.png Sifuu thinks that her son has "forgotten more about long distance weaponry than she ever knew".
  • When chatting with Tamala Profile.png Tamala, she reveals that she and Hassian formerly shared a relationship, but broke things off because of his "sour" demeanor and lack of maturity. She furthermore elaborates that Hassian was smitten enough to propose marriage to her, but she was only interested in a casual fling.
  • Hassian's mother tells that the young hunter is more affectionate with children and animals and that's what gives her hope that one day her son will find a partner.
  • Although the mail is confidential, Auni Profile.png Auni reveals to the player that Hassian gets romance novels sent to him from the library all the time. Like, the really mushy kind.
  • There are villagers who he does not really know much better than the Player when they arrive at Kilima for the first time. During the quest Room for Improvement, if the Player asks Tish Profile.png Tish for help, she mentions not being sure if Hassian even knows her name.
  • Hassian plays cards with Auni Profile.png Auni at the inn quite often. For some reason it's quite a big gossip around the village. Kenyatta Profile.png Kenyatta is seeing them frequently and shares that information with Nai'o Profile.png Nai'o, who's anxious about "his rudeness rubbing off" on his little brother. Reth Profile.png Reth can also share that with the Player, informing them that the card game between Hassian and Auni happens every day. He comments that the hunter's affection for the bug catcher surprised him. The Player can also be invited by Hassian for a card game since a certain friendship level (as a daily dialogue).
  • Following the previous point; Reth Profile.png Reth does not seem as negative towards Hassian as Nai'o Profile.png Nai'o, although he makes sharp-tongued comments about him; for example that he thought the only thing Hassian wants from the inn is "a place to contemplate how much other people disappoint him".
