Dialogue and Mail

Letter from Hassian

To whom it may concern,
City Hall requires I send these letters to new residents. You will find a bow and set of arrows in the attached package. City Hall also requires me to tell you that I am available to tutor you in their use. During work hours, you can find me in Kilima village. This is not an invitation to waste my time. I am busy.

Upon speaking to Hassian

Player
I got your letter.
Hassian
My what?
Oh. Those pre-written letters City Hall had me sign.
My mother is the town's blacksmith. A simple bow like that is in easy supply.
It takes years to learn proper hunting. Start by aiming that bow at something, like those chapaas or a sernuk. Maybe you will even manage to hit your target.

Upon returning to Hassian

Hassian
Why have you returned? Did you think I would praise you for a job well done?
It is every Palian's duty to help maintain the balance of nature.
In the interest of perpetuating that balance, I am obligated to give you this.
Hassian
Chapaas are not natural to this environment. They overpopulate and destroy natural wildlife and vegetation.

Hassian
Sernuk have been a traditional source of meat for generations in Kilima.
But the chapaas... are not natural to this environment. They overpopulate and destroy natural wildlife and vegetation.
If you truly want to help our community, you will help eradicate this threat.
It is only right that you Humans do, before you too begin to run wild.
You may leave me alone now. I'm sure any further contact can be conducted over mail.

Post-Quest

Letter from Sifuu

Dear (Player),
Apologies for my son's rudeness the other day. I wanted to let you know you are welcome in this valley and if anybody says otherwise, they're gonna have to go through me! As a welcome gift, I made this Chapaa skin rug with one of Hassian's pelts. Just the thing for a hunter like you to rest their weary feet on!
