Spineshell Crabs are easily spotted among the more common Bahari Crabs due to their large size and deep purple shells, though their darker color might make them more difficult to spot underwater.

How to Obtain

Bug Catching

Spineshell Crabs can be found along the beach and in the water of Bahari Coast in Bahari Bay, including Coral Shores, Lighthouse Lagoon, Beachcomber Cove, and the Flooded Fortress, at any time of day.

Behavior

Once alerted by player movement or Smoke Bombs, the Spineshell Crab will flee in a straight line before eventually burying into the sand and disappearing. Although the Spineshell Crab does not stop moving once it is startled, its slow speed and large size makes it a fairly easy target to hit.
