–In-Game Item Description

Has a chance to be found when chopping trees in Kilima during the morning and day.

Bug Catching

A Golden Glory Bee has a 10% chance to spawn after cutting down medium or large Sapwood trees around Kilima Valley during the morning and day.

Golden Glory Bees cannot be found naturally, and can only be encountered by chopping down medium and large Birch or Oak trees. Shrubs, saplings, and small trees are not able to spawn Golden Glory Bees.

Because they spawn in place of trees that are cut down, Golden Glory Bees will immediately be alerted by the player's presence and attempt to flee. They are a flying insect, and will quickly dart in a straight line away from the player before briefly pausing. Because of their high speed, it is recommended that players wait to throw any Smoke Bombs until after the Golden Glory Bee has stopped moving.

In addition to the bug, Golden Glory Bee grants 0 - 7 Silk Thread when caught.

Starred versions of this bug can be placed as a decor.
