The Pine Tree is one of the tree types available in Palia.

Location

The Pine Tree can be found all around Bahari Bay or can be obtained on the Housing Plot by planting a Pinecone and watering it.

Drops

The Pine Tree can drop the following items when chopped:

• Guaranteed:
  • Heartwood (the amount dropped depends on the Growth Stage of the tree)

• Rare drops:
  •  1 Pinecone (only if the tree is Medium or Large-sized)
  •  1 Pine Amber

Clicking on any of the Trees' icons will get you to their respective Growth Stage pages.

Uses

Decoration

When planted using a Pinecone, the Pine Tree can be used to decorate the Player's Housing Plot.

Resources

Pine Trees can be used to gather resources by chopping them down.

Notes

• Most Pine Trees can be chopped down using any type of axe.
  • Mature Pine Trees require either a Fine Axe or an Exquisite Axe to be chopped.
  • Pine Trees planted on the Housing Plot do not have a chance of granting a Pine Amber when chopped.
• Pine Trees placed on the Player's Housing Plot can be moved, picked up and stored.

Update History

Build 0.180:

• Pine Amber will now drop at a chance when you chop Pine Trees.

Build 0.178:

• Tree seed mechanic changed to allow the Player to plant them and grow trees on their housing plot. To that end, previously planted trees were converted to the new grow mechanic.
  
  • Planted trees are now also movable.
