Description

Bug Catching

Location

Ancient Flowbugs can be caught in the Temple of the Gales at all hours on the Bug Island, the star version can be obtained by choosing to talk to  Elouisa after finding all of the collectibles for the Proof of Magic quest, or in a chest after solving the puzzle in the small temple on the main island.

Behavior

Ancient Flowbugs float lazily through the air until alerted by player movement or Smoke Bombs, at which time they will begin to flee. Ancient Flowbugs move very slowly, giving players plenty of time to properly aim and throw additional Smoke Bombs before the Ancient Flowbug disappears.

Drops

Ancient Flowbug does not grant any additional items when caught.

Notes

Starred versions of this bug can be placed as a decor.

Catching an Ancient Flowbug does not count for any accomplishments.
