Description

“	Whenever you see the sun out, you can see the eyes of this intricately patterned butterfly looking around Bahari Bay. Found in the Forests of Bahari Bay during the morning and day.	”

The Brighteye Butterfly, as the name implies, has bright yellow markings that help set it apart from nearby Common Blue Butterflies.

How to Obtain

Bug Catching

The Brighteye Butterfly spawns in north Bahari Bay, and can be found throughout the Flooded Steps, The Outskirts, Proudhorn Pass and Thorny Thicket from 3:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Behavior

Brighteye Butterflies are alerted by player movement and Smoke Bombs, and will attempt to flee. Although they fly in a straight line, the Brighteye Butterfly does not stop once they begin moving. Players should continue to throw additional Smoke Bombs as it attempts to escape.

Drops

There is a chance the Brighteye Butterfly will drop one of the following items when caught:

• 1 - 7 Silk Thread
• 0 - 1 Pale Paintbrush Flower

Reward

Brighteye Butterfly can be obtained as a reward when completing the following Quests:
