The Inky Dragonfly can be distinguished from Brushtail Dragonflies by its darker color and longer abdomen. Unlike Brushtail Dragonflies, the Inky Dragonfly is exclusive to Bahari Bay.

How to Obtain

Bug Catching

The Inky Dragonfly can be found near Bahari Rivers and Ponds in Bahari Bay, such as in Hideaway Bluffs, Pulsewater Plains, Proudhorn Pass, The Outskirts, and the Thorny Thicket, at any time of day.

Behavior

Inky Dragonflies are alerted by nearby player movement and Smoke Bombs, and will attempt to flee. Because of its quick speed, it is recommended that players wait until the Inky Dragonfly pauses its movement before attempting to throw additional Smoke Bombs.

There is a chance the Inky Dragonfly will drop the following item when caught:
