Bug Catching

The Common Field Cricket is a relatively common insect in Palia, and can be found at any time of day near Maji's Hollow, Chapaa Crossing, Whispering Banks, and around the Daiya Family Farm in Kilima Valley, as well as throughout Pulsewater Plains, amid the cliffs of Hideaway Bluffs, and outside Pavel Mines in Bahari Bay.

Behavior

Common Field Crickets hop along the ground every few seconds, so there is a short window to throw a Smoke Bomb after they land.

They are alerted by nearby player movement and Smoke Bombs and will hop away in a zig-zag pattern before disappearing.
