Standard Rod

Standard Rod is the first upgrade to the Rod and is used to Fish in Palia.

The Standard Rod has a greater speed and line health than the Makeshift Rod.

The Standard Rod's durability decreases with each fishing attempt, but its durability can be restored at a Repair Station using Repair Kits or Gold. If the rod is not repaired, it will downgrade.

How to Obtain

The Standard Rod can be obtained by upgrading a Makeshift Rod at the Worktable or downgrading a Fine Rod by reducing its durability to 0 (zero) while Fishing.

Upgrade materials:

• 20 Sapwood Plank
• 5 Copper Bar
• 1 Makeshift Rod

Obtain the Recipe

The recipe for Standard Rod is available for purchase from the Fishing Guild Store once the Player reaches Fishing Level 3.

Uses

Any Rod can be used to catch fish and other items in the water.
