Gereedschappen worden op verschillende manieren gebruikt om middelen te verzamelen.

Upgrades

“	Als je aan je reis in Palia begint, zul je merken dat er middelen zijn die je niet kunt hakken of breken. Misschien kom je middelen tegen waarvoor je gereedschap van een hoger niveau nodig hebt om te oogsten, of zie je zeldzame wezens die te moeilijk te vangen zijn met je standaard gereedschap. Overweeg ze te upgraden om je avontuurlijke ervaring te verbeteren!	”

Alle gereedschappen hebben vier niveaus: Geïmproviseerd, Standaard, Fijn en Uitmuntend.

Spelers beginnen met Geïmproviseerde gereedschappen die aan de Werkbank kunnen worden uitgebreid met planken en metalen staven.

De recepten voor het upgraden van gereedschap kunnen gekocht worden in de bijbehorende Gildewinkels als er bepaalde niveaus in die vaardigheid zijn bereikt. Gereedschappen moeten worden geüpgrade in oplopende volgorde omdat voor elke upgrade het gereedschap van de vorige rang nodig is als een van de benodigde materialen.

De planken en metalen staven die nodig zijn voor elk niveau van de upgrade zijn:

Duurzaamheid

Alle niveaus behalve Geïmproviseerd hebben te lijden onder duurzaamheidsverlies door gebruik en moeten worden gerepareerd bij een Reparatiestation.

• Standaard heeft een duurzaamheid van 1000
• Fijn heeft een duurzaamheid van 2000
• Uitmuntend heeft een duurzaamheid van 3000

Slijtage

Voor elk gereedschap zul je verliezen:

• Pikhouweel: 4 duurzaamheid per slag
• Hengel: 18 duurzaamheid per gevangen vis
• Boog: 7 duurzaamheid per geschoten pijl
• Riem: 7 duurzaamheid per rookbom
• Schoffel: 10 duurzaamheid per bewerkte grondvierkant
• Gieter: 5 duurzaamheid per bewaterde grondcel
• Bijl: 4 duurzaamheid per slag

Reparaties

Gereedschap kan op drie locaties worden gerepareerd:

• Bij het aambeeld van de Smid met  Gold als betaling of Reparatiekits uit de inventaris van de speler.
• Bij het Central Stables Snelreispunt in Bahari Bay met Reparatiekits uit de inventaris van de speler.
• Bij een Reparatiestation op een Woonkavel met Reparatiekits uit de inventaris en opslag van de speler.

De kosten van Goud of Reparatiekits voor een reparatie zijn evenredig met het duurzaamheidsverlies van het gereedschap. De duurzaamheid van het gereedschap wordt weergegeven als een cirkelvormige balk rond de afbeelding van het gereedschap. De duurzaamheidsbalk is geelgroen als hij vol of bijna vol is en wordt oranje tot rood als hij helemaal leeg is. Als de balk helemaal leeg is, degradeert het gereedschap naar het vorige niveau en moet het opnieuw worden geüpgraded op de Werkbank.

Bijlen

Bijlen zijn een gereedschap van Foerageren dat wordt gebruikt om struiken en bomen om te hakken om hout, vezels en het incidentele boomzaadje te verzamelen.

Het soort hout dat wordt verzameld, wordt bepaald door het soort boom dat wordt omgehakt. Grotere bomen vereisen bijlen van een hoger niveau. Sommige bomen met Flow vereisen ook samenwerking met andere spelers, ondanks het gebruik van de bijl van het hoogste niveau. Ze kunnen ook worden gebruikt om bepaalde houten rommel op te ruimen op de Woonkavel.

Recepten voor bijl-upgrades kunnen worden gekocht bij de Foerageren Gildewinkel beheerd door  Ashura.

Pikhouwelen

Picks are a Mining tool used to break up rock nodes to collect stone, clay, ores and rare Starstones. The type of ores collected is determined by the type of node that is mined. Larger nodes require higher tiered picks. Picks can also be used to clear away rock debris while exploring certain ruins.

Recipes for upgrades can be purchased from the Mining Guild Store run by  Hodari.

Schoffels

Hoes are a Gardening tool used to till Soil and remove unwanted Crops on the Housing Plot. Tilling soil may yield seeds, precious ores, or a few other random items.

Gieters

Watering Cans are a Gardening tool used to water Crops, Flowers and Trees that have been planted on the Housing Plot. They can be filled with water from the small pond near the main entrance of the plot, from the shallows at the back of the plot, or from a Well if one is available.

Hengels

Fishing Rods are a Fishing tool used to catch Fish from ponds, rivers, and lakes. The type of fish caught is determined by the Palia Time of day, the location and type of body of water being fished, and the kind of Bait (or lack thereof) being used. Non-fish items, such as a Waterlogged Chest, also have a chance to be reeled in.

Bogen

Bows are a Hunting tool used to shoot Arrows at creatures to obtain furs, hides, meat, and other useful materials. The types of materials obtained is determined by the type of creature hunted. Bows can also shoot Fireworks or Flares to signal other Players to a specific location.

Recipes for upgrades can be purchased from the Hunting Guild Store run by  Hassian.

Riemen

Belts are a Bug Catching tool used to deploy Smoke Bombs to catch Bugs. The type of bugs available to catch is determined by location and the Palia Time of day. Certain bugs have a chance to drop Silk and/or seeds for Flowers.

  • We hebben dit een nieuw likje verf gegeven, het aantal sleuven vergroot en het wegzetten toegankelijker gemaakt voor alle spelers.
    
  • Als je gereedschap is uitgerust, tik je snel op het gereedschapswiel om het gereedschap weg te zetten.
    
  • Nadat je het gereedschap hebt weggezet, tik je op de gereedschapswielknop om het gereedschap dat je eerder hebt gebruikt opnieuw uit te rusten.
    
  • Het wegzetten van gereedschap wordt nog steeds ondersteund met de muis+toetsenbord (de X-toets).
