Flowers
Flowers can be seen throughout the world of Palia, a select few are Gatherables used in recipes, while most are purely decorative. Using the
Bug Catching skill, Players can sometimes be rewarded with a seed to plant some decorative flowers in the Housing Plot.
For more information on each flower, see the list below.

Decorative Flowers
| “ | We can’t wait to see all the beautiful gardens Palians will make with these flowers. And be sure to expect even more options in the future. | ” |

Decorative Flowers are grown in 2 stages, beginning as a sprout, and will advance in their growth with regular watering. They cannot be planted in gardening Soil, but they can be planted anywhere on the Player's Housing Plot that they currently have unlocked (even indoors! but only on the floor).
There is a maximum capacity of 1,000 seeds/flowers per housing plot and, just like Trees that can be planted, flowers count towards the 3,500 total asset limit per housing plot. This means that if the Player plants the maximum amount of flowers, there will only be a 2,500 asset limit left for furniture and other Decor items.
How to Obtain Flower Sprouts
There are five ways to obtain seeds and sprouts for your flower garden: Bug Catching, propagation, purchasing, and participating in the Piksii Blossom Bounce and Flower Bloom events.
Bug Catching
Every time you catch a Bug in Kilima Valley, there is a chance for it to drop a flower sprout.
There are 11 different flower sprouts available that can be obtained by catching bugs.
Every time you catch a Bug in Bahari Bay, there is a chance for it to drop a flower sprout.
There are 12 different flower sprouts available that can be obtained by catching bugs.
Propagation
After the last stage of watering, a flower will produce a seed. Only one seed is produced per plant! (Note: Certain flowers, shrubs, and other plants unique to the Piksii Blossom Bounce and Flower Bloom events cannot be propagated.)
Harvesting seeds from flowers that produce them grants a sprout which can be planted and watered to grow a new flower. These sprouts will in turn grow to produce another seed.
Where to Purchase
Some flower seeds can also be purchased with Bug Catching Medals earned through Weekly Challenges. The Bug Catching Guild store can be accessed by interacting with
Auni.
