Vault of the Roots is a Main quest automatically bestowed upon completion of Secret Depths.

Something strange happened after you completed the puzzle in the Temple of the Roots. Meet Einar in the ruins south of Hekla's tent to investigate.

Walkthrough

1. Now that you have completed another Temple, go talk to Einar in the Night Sky Temple to find out what happens next.
   • This will allow you to start filling the Bundles of the Vault of the Roots

I perceived you releasing that large cylindrical apparatus from the center of the temple.

I do not know much about it... it served some special purpose. For you to have uncovered it... it appears you will serve a special purpose as well.

Perhaps Jina will know.

Despite the exciting intrusion, our own investigation must continue. Another vault has unlocked due to your actions.

It is my understanding that other members of the village frequently thank you with gifts of shiny metal.

Please accept this shiny rounded disc as a token of my appreciation. It is fresh from the bay.

If you lose this one, I cannot replace it. Please do not break it.
