Objective
Part 1
You found a broken light bulb in a wooden box. Ask around and see if anyone knows why somebody gave a light bulb a funeral.
- Find out if anyone knows something about the lightbulb.
Part 2
Elouisa sent you to Caleri to find more about the mysterious lightbulb. She thinks you'll need a book called "Forbidden Romance Curse and More." The info you need is in the "And More" part of the book...
- Talk to Caleri about the book.
- ↷ Return to Elouisa

Walkthrough
- Find the Odd Box in a Rummage Pile.
- Open the box to reveal the Broken Light Bulb and initiate the discovery quest.
- Find out if anyone knows something about the lightbulb.
- Speak with Elouisa (no other villagers have a quest dialogue option)
- Elouisa sends you to Caleri to get a book.
- Talk to Caleri about the book.
- Return to Elouisa.

Upon talking to Elouisa.

- Did you... bury a lightbulb?
- Elouisa
- Oh. Which one did you find?
- Player
- It was in a wooden box with odd markings.
- Elouisa
- Let me see that one..
- Oh... this was not mine. It must have been from...

- The guy who lived on my housing plot?!
- Elouisa
- Yes... one and the same.

- Is that a human name?
- Player
- Why do you seem worried?
- Player
- Oh, yeah! That guy! Who I totally, definitely know!
- Elouisa
- Yes. He was Majiri, but was so interested in human ways that he changed his name.
- This... was a Flow lightbulb he invented to see ghosts.

- G-G-G-GHOSTS!?
- Elouisa
- Calm down, ghosts are not real.
- Cryptids, definitely real. But ghosts...
- Who believes in that kind of stuff anyway?

- I agree. Cryptids, definitely real. Ghosts... not so much.

- I am glad you are back! Did Caleri give you the book?
- Player
- She said you need to return your other one.
- Player
- Is this curse even real?
- Elouisa
- Alright... you caught me. There is no curse...
- I lost "Cryptid of Love" while trying to read it up on the cliffside.
- It bounced off some rocks and into the lake.
- This lightbulb, while unique, only shows traces of Flow, not ghosts.
- And that curse was something I made up...
- Unless it's real.

- Why did you lie to me?
- Elouisa
- I was worried you would not help me if I told the truth.
- Maybe one day we can fish up "Cryptid of Love" and return it...
