Dialogue and Mail
Introduction
Upon speaking to Hekla
- Hekla
- Hello, Human.
- I see that many Palians, including my Jina, have come to count on you for the completion of tasks.
- While my experience would suggest that Humans cannot be trusted, I have to admit that your behavior has provided some evidence to the contrary.
- ...at least in your unique instance. Can I trust you to bring me some supplies?
- Player
- Nah, I'd rather relax.
- Hekla
- Hmmm...I suppose I miscalibrated your level of helpfulness. What a pity.
- Should you change your mind, I am in need of procuring a scrap of fabric, two buttons and a potato.
Progression
Upon speaking to Jel
- Player
- Do you have any buttons?
- Jel
- I might, could you be a little more specific? What type of buttons?
- Player
- It doesn't matter.
- Player
- The...best...kind.
- Jel
- Seriously? You know the tools I use to perfect my art aren't just interchangeable, right?
- A brass button gives a garment a completely different feel than a mother of pearl button!
- Look at me. Preaching to an amateur.
- I suppose if you really don't care you can take these scraps, free of charge.
Conclusion
Upon returning to Hekla
- Hekla
- Many thanks for the procurement of these items. Here is some sustenance as thanks.
- ...please think of me as it passes through your digestive system.
Notes
Optional: Upon chatting with Hekla during quest
- Hekla
- Please make sure the buttons you bring back are less than 1/10th the size of a potato.
- It would not do to have eyes that take up more than 1/10th of your face.
- I believe that would be aesthetically displeasing.
If the player has no potato in their inventory:
- Hekla
- When you bring back my basket, make sure it is big enough to fit a potato inside.
- I am sorry, I should have been more clear about my requirements earlier.
