Silver-winging It is a Main Quest given by Zeki, which unlocks after the player completes Look to the Sky, part of the series of quests for The Temple of the Gales.

With your Flow battery secured, it's time to make your way to mysterious Temple with Caleri, Elouisa, and Zeki.

Objectives

Part 1

Talk to Zeki

Optional: Talk to Caleri or Elouisa to receive the quest Proof of Magic

Part 2

Zeki needs a hand fixing up the Flow Gate. Make the final repairs.

With the Flow Gate fixed up, it's time to give it a test run. Activate it and see what happens!

Part 4

The Flow Gate brought you to another mysteriously small room, this time with a familiar door. Work together with Elouisa and Caleri to solve the puzzle... if you can convince them to set aside their differences.

The path ahead is clear. Forge on and explore this mysterious temple - start by using your glider to ride that gust of wind!

The temple is thousands of feet in the air! Activate the nearby Flowgate so that Caleri, Elouisa, and Zeki can join you.

Walkthrough

Travel to Bahari Bay and head to the Temple of the Gales just south of Windy Ruins on the map. Enter the ruins. Talking to Caleri or Elouisa once inside starts the quest Proof of Magic.
Approach the Flowstone Gate and then interact with it, this will allow the Flow Gate to open. Interact again to travel through it.
Solve the riddle to open the door. Speak to Elouisa and Caleri for clues.
- Hint: The colors of the eggs correspond with the symbols on the stands.
- Solution: Place 3 mysterious eggs as follows: Red, Blue, Green.
Approach the wind tunnel with your Glider. This will allow you to glide up to the next level.

Introduction

Upon talking to Elouisa.

Elouisa: I have a feeling you found something.
Player: You both came?
Elouisa: Of course we did! I want Caleri to witness any paranormal proof in this formidable fortress with her own eyes.; She'd never believe me if she didn't see it firsthand, after all. A single feather or egg just won't do.
Player: What's Zeki up to?
Elouisa: He told Caleri and I to wait over here while he "fixed "something.[sic]; What is he hiding? I love my theories.; Perhaps he is just stealing parts from that... whatever-it-is.

Upon talking to Caleri.

Caleri: Have something to tell me?
Player: You both came?
Caleri: Absolutely. As I mentioned, I need to make sure my sister doesn't get into trouble.; ...and I want to see the look on her face when I'm proven right.; Even if there is a member of class Aves similar to the Silverwing, I highly doubt it has any magical abilities.
Player: What's Zeki doing?
Caleri: Reconstructing that bizarre human device; He claims it may be some sort of teleporter. I've never seen mention of anything like it in any human texts.; If it's real, perhaps it can bring us closer to my scientific catharsis.

Progression

Upon talking to Zeki.

Player: How's it going?
Zeki: Just fantastic, pal.; At least it was, before those two walked in and started bickering non-stop.; I've only seen one other fight over a bird get this intense - and that was between two Grimalkin on a deserted island.

Player: Did they always fight like this?
Zeki: I've been stuck listenin' to 'em go back and forth since...; Pretty much the whole time I've known them, and that's a pretty long time.; With Parents like theirs... let's just say I get why.

Player: A deserted island?!
Zeki: I was a cabin kitten for some Grimalkin pirates back in the day.; I tried to lead a mutiny and the captain got a little... salty.; Hated gettin' wet before that... now I stick to dry land almost exclusively.

Player: Is that a teleporter?
Zeki: I'm impressed you recognized it, kid - these things are rarer than Heat root.; Ancient humans used 'em to zip around fast. Grimalkin have their own version for space travel.; I guess as a human, you probably have some experience with 'em.

Player: Are you stealing that human tech?
Zeki: Only the parts that don't help it work.; You'd be amazed how many redundant failsafes humans added to things...; If something Grimalkin made breaks... I mean, you already paid, right?

Player: What are you doing over here?
Zeki: When we got here, this Flowstone Gate was already bashed up. Someone didn't want people gettin' to whatever's on the other side.; Bet it's preeeeetty valuable.; Lucky for you, I was just about finished fixin' it. Think you can help me switch it on?
Player: What's wrong with it?
Zeki: It needs a more... Human...touch.; I mean that literally. Your people locked it to their Flow signatures.

After activating the Flowstone Gate. The Gate opens, and a tooltip appears saying "The Flowstone Gate whirs to life."

Zeki: You're a natural, kid. I'll see you on the other side.; Unless anything I ripped out of there was important...

Upon talking to Zeki after entering the Flowstone Gate.

Zeki: Ugh, trapped again...; Look, uh... I make it my business not to go gettin' tangled up in other people's personal business, but those two could use a talk.; Things have been tenser than usual between 'em.; They're smart folks, and if you calm 'em down I bet they could get us outta here.; Plus... and don't tell them I said this... I hate to see 'em fight. Especially when I can't leave the room.; I'll distract one while you talk to the other so they don't overhear... maybe we can make this right.

Upon talking to Caleri after entering the Flowstone Gate.

Player: What's on your mind?
Caleri: These carvings are based on...; ...; You think I'm being too harsh on Elouisa, don't you?

Player: You're making assumptions like she is.
Caleri: I appreciate your forwardness. I suppose you might be correct.; I've assumed she's wrong without any evidence.; And this isn't the first time...; I've been so focused on other people not taking her seriously, I've done the same thing.; I will entertain her theories, but I still want proof.

Player: No, she needs to hear the truth.
Caleri: (TBA)

Player: I don't want to take sides.
Caleri: Hmph. Say what you will, but false neutrality helps no one.; You may not want to get involved, but I'm trying to help my sister.; So many people dismiss her because of her theories and beliefs.; She Needs to stop spreading rumors if she wants to be taken seriously.

Player: She just wants you to believe.
Caleri: ... Believe? I believe in facts and proof.; Although I suppose I could make an exception for my sister, in the right context.; ...; So many people dismiss her because of her theories and beliefs.; I don't want to be one of them.

Player: Why don't you help her find proof?
Caleri: I... suppose I could.; If we work together, we may be able to discover more than we would alone.; Even if I will just be proving her wrong...

Player: You can't force her to change.
Caleri: You're right. Perhaps I need to work on accepting her as she is.; Our parents didn't really teach us how to do that...; We'll work together on this investigation, to see who's really right.; Even if I don't expect it to be her.

Player: Can you just help me solve this puzzle?
Caleri: (TBA)

Player: Elousia's theories are harmless.
Caleri: They aren't harmless.; Maybe you aren't aware of this, but Elouisa has been deeply hurt by many of her "friends" before.; ...; Including me.; Maybe I should work together with her on this one...

Player: You'll make a great team.
Caleri: First we need to figure out how to be around each other.; Which might take some time. And space.

Player: Maybe you'll find out she's right.
Caleri: Ha! Preposterous.; Still, at least I'm approaching this scientifically.; If we eliminate one possibility, perhaps we can find another we both agree on.

Player: Start by working together to get us out of here.

Elouisa: Um... it might have been from a picture in a book? Probably one of Caleri's.; Not that she'd believe me if I asked about it...; I am simply entertaining possibilities.; Caleri is so obsessed with proving me wrong, she has lost sight of the scientific method.

Player: What are you fighting about?
Elouisa: I may have my theories, but I never claim they are 100% correct.; I am simply here looking for evidence. Caleri is looking to be proven right.

Player: There isn't time to argue.
Elouisa: I am not trying to argue who is right - I am looking for proof.; That is the scientific way, after all.; Caleri is so obssessed with proving me wrong, she has lost sight of that.

Player: Caleri might be right this time.
Elouisa: (TBA)

Elouisa: Mislead people? I simply wish to open their minds to possibilities!; Despite my... difficult... childhood, I wish to believe there is still magic in this world.; I just want Caleri to share a little bit of that belief. Elouisa: You're right!; Unfortunately, we cannot prove anything stuck in here.

Player: You feel like you owe Caleri?
Elouisa: As I've alluded to, our parents expected the upmost level of success from us.; Eventually, they gave up on me, and put twice as much pressure on Caleri.; She thinks I don't realize what happened, but I do... and I've always felt guilty.; She always feels like she has to protect me, but I'm the older twin. By three whole seconds!; I should be helping her. And if I can get her to open her mind, maybe I can undo some of what I caused...

Player: Sounds like you two need therapy.
Elouisa: Unless Zeki has a couch and a degree in his pocket, we won't find one in here.

Player: Any idea about this puzzle?

Caleri: So...the carvings that I mentioned.; They seem to represent different things I've seen on ancient Human maps.; There's a pillar with flames bursting out the top, and a small house in a grassy field. I can't quite remember the one in the middle...; Hopefully that helps you solve it.

Elouisa: I appreciate you trying to help us.; Maybe I can help you... I believe I do recognize those eggs.; In the legends, silverwings laid eggs in colors related to the elements - but not ones with yellow triangles!; And those symbols... I once heard of a human statue that looked like the middle symbol.; It was near the ocean. That must be connected in some way, right?; I must begin theorizing! Best of luck solving the puzzle.

Zeki: You got it open! And now there's a big... gusty... thing.; Hey, maybe try riding it with your glider?; I'd do it myself, but uh... I ain't the type of Grimalkin to climb trees, ya know?; Although we'll be stuck down here... just.. uh... find us another Flowstone gate.

Zeki: Woah! Uh...next time warn me before teleportin' me next to a cliff.
Player: What is this thing?
Zeki: Some kinda nest or something... it looks like it's hooked into the tech around here.; What do you think it's for?; Try asking the twins while I take a look. One of 'em might know something useful.

Upon talking to Caleri after opening main Flowstone Gate

Caleri: Fascinating. It appears that Flow device across the way is levitating these pieces of land.
Player: What is this place?
Caleri: By the looks of the carvings in that last room, I'd say it's a Human science outpost.; I've heard of these before, although never one lifted into the sky like this...; Humans had some archaic backup systems... to get the path across working again, we may need to restore the experiement.^{[citation needed]}; I wonder what actually occupied this nest....; Perhaps we can find out.

Upon talking to Elousia after opening main Flowstone Gate

Elousia: A floating fortress!? What could the humans have been doing up here?
Player: Maybe something with the big nest?
Elousia: Perhaps. It's almost assuredly a Silverwing nest.; Silverwings start out small, but they grow to tremendous sizes.; Their nests are built with special trees that only grow on the bottom side of cliffs!; Although this nest is quite dilapidated...; It appears to be connected to that old human technology. Why would they be monitoring a nest like this?; We should monitor this monitoring system for clues! We must be able to get it to work somehow...

Zeki: You find something?
Player: They think we need to fix up the nest...
Zeki: If those two think that's what we need to do, I trust 'em.; You probably need to find some eggs. And uh... what else do babies need?; Grimalkin babies sleep on a pile of gold so we can be trained to defend it early. Guessin' these birds are a bit different.; Maybe if we knock around this place a bit, we can figure it out.; And hey, if you see any more Flowstone gates, flip 'em on so we can reach you. Not all Grimalkin always land on their feet!
