The Temple of the Roots is an ancient temple created by ancient Humans.

Location

The Temple of the Roots is located in Bahari Bay northeast of the Flooded Steps, D3 on your map. Players can access this place after disengaging the Garden Lockdown Protocol in three Overseer stations.

New job. Whoopee. I was excited, but Veyra's promotion has really annoyed the other overseers - you can't imagine the drama that's going on between them all.

Hopefully I can get through this and get promoted myself without anything eventful happening. The Gardener seems to handle most of the day-to-day operations here anyway.

Veyra came by today to assess us for the Cosmos protocol. Great.

Guessing she's got a bit of a chip on her shoulder about this place - she told me to wall off the Garden entirely and put the puzzle in my office. She didn't even bother speaking with The Gardener while she was here. I almost feel bad for him.

Whatever. At least whoever comes to activate the protocol won't have to deal with the fallout. I'll just have to. Again.

P.S. - If you're reading this waaaay down the line, maybe stop back there and say hello to The Gardener. He's a bit rigid, but he's an ok guy overall.

First RoomSecond RoomGolden PipeLarge Room From the top left lookout, glide down to the golden pipe. 1 Gold Bar From the entrance, go down the ladder and jump onto the cliff overlooking the bottom of the room. 2 Dragon's Beard Peat From the first chest, go to the bottom of the ladders and turn right. In the back right corner under a tree. (Above the pipe that you go through to get to the next room) 2 Brightshroom On the golden pipe. On the cliff. Under the tree. After heading through the golden pipe, turn right into another broken piece of pipe. Pearl 15 Gold Drop down below the moving platforms, the chest is in the back right corner. 50 Gold Climb up the hill on the right. From the top, glide across the room into a pipe on the other side. 2 Stonefish In the golden pipe to the right. Below the moving platforms. Across from the cliff. Jump off of the moving platform at the point where it turns left, down this pipe there is a chest. 10 Palium Ore Right before the lasers. Immediately after breaking the cracked wall and entering this room, head down the ramp. Just underneath this ramp there is a chest. 50 Gold Under the ramp.
