The Heist is a Friendship Quest given by Reth upon reaching Friendship Level 4: Clandestine Confidant.


Description

“ Sounds like Reth needs your help. Time to meet him in the store room. Again. ”


Objectives

Part 1

  • Meet Reth in the storeroom.

Part 2

Eshe has seized a very important shipment before Reth could get his hands on it, and locked it away in City Hall. He's asked you to find some way inside.

  • Find a way to obtain the confiscated cargo.

Part 3

Now that you've got the package, it's time to get it back to Reth.

  • Return to the storeroom and give Reth the shipment.

Walkthrough

  1. Once again, Reth needs your help, and has sent a letter asking you to meet him in your 'secret spot'.
    • Reth will be present no matter what time of day you go in.
  2. Gain access to the City Hall Records Room.
    • Talk to Kenli, Eshe, or Kenyatta
    • The person who helps you must be at Level 3 Friendship.
      • Kenli will give you a key to the storeroom. Enter to retrieve the shipment.
      • Eshe will give you a key to the storeroom. Enter to retrieve the shipment.
      • Kenyatta will send you mail to return to her to retrieve the shipment.
    • There is the possibility of being able to retrieve the shipment from the outside through the storeroom window by interacting with the package from the right angle.
  3. Return the package to Reth in his storeroom.

And now Tish is gonna pay for it all.

Yeah, I guess it is. Not a lot of people know about it... not even Tish.

Because only Flow, the real heavy duty illegal kind, could help.
Trust me, we tried everything when she got sick. I dragged her to every healer in the area. None of them could do anything for her.
I need you to get that shipment for me. Before Eshe opens it and finds out what's inside.

It’s hard to say. She can’t just open packages the moment she seizes them. There are rules, and bureaucracy involved. She’s gotta get approved.
It could be days. Could be weeks. Could be hours.
But eventually, she will open it. And you can say bye-bye Reth. And bye-bye Tish.
Player
I’m NOT going to let that happen.
Reth
Thanks, (Player). Man, I should figure out some better ways to thank you, Huh? I'm saying it a lot these days.

Gotcha. One heist coming up.

I'm kind of jealous I can't come help. A heist with you sounds fun.

This will be a disaster.
Reth

The criminal underbelly in Kilima has become quite brazen in the past couple weeks.
Why, just recently I seized a shipment that tried to slip by without filling out the proper forms.
And now I must petition... the Duchess for approval to investigate.
As if every decision in Kilima must be made according to her whims.

I could help guard the shipment for you.

I have enlisted my useless husband to do that. Not that he makes a particularly fearsome guard...
Hmm. Perhaps you could help. WIth that buffoon so occupied, the paperwork has begun piling up.

Kenyatta, huh? Maybe she's got more guts than I gave her credit for.
Listen, I know it might seem like I'm taking this lightly, but that's just how my face looks. I really thought this was it for me.
But you saved me. Saved Tish. You could have asked for the whole world from me and I woulda given it, but you didn't ask for anything.
Doesn't mean I won't try to pay you back. Come on, there's gotta be something you want.
