Plank by Plank is a Main Quest given by Tish as part of the quest House, Sweet House.

Description

“

Tish has informed you that in order to finish your house you'll need to gain access to a Basic Sawmill. She's adviced you get it from Ashura's Skill Store. Reach level 2 in Foraging and then purchase the recipe for the Basic Sawmill from Ashura.

”

Objectives

Part 1

Obtain the recipe for a Basic Sawmill from Ashura at Foraging Level 2.

Part 2

Now that you have obtained the recipe for a Basic Sawmill, craft the facility and place it on your plot.

• Build and place the Basic Sawmill on your plot.

Part 3

Now that you have obtained the recipe for a Basic Sawmill and placed it on your plot, it's time to craft your first plank! Input sapwood into the top slot of the Basic Sawmill, and wait for it to finish crafting a plank. Then, pick up your shiny (or dusty) new plank!

Walkthrough

1. Chop trees for Sapwood or gather flowers, spices, mushrooms, moss or beach items to level up your Foraging skill.
2. When you reach Foraging Level 2, talk to Ashura who will introduce you to the Foraging Guild Store.
3. Purchase the Basic Sawmill recipe for  100 Gold.
4. Go to your Housing Plot and interact with your Worktable. Craft your very first Basic Sawmill!

Material Requirements
40 Sapwood  12 Flint  20 Plant Fiber

5. Place your Basic Sawmill on your plot and interact with it. Drag at least 1 Sapwood into the top slot to start crafting.
6. Collect the newly made Sapwood Plank to complete the quest.

Dear (Player),

I heard you've built your first sawmill! I still remember when I made my first plank. The sides were so warped and uneven, everyone thought it was an art project!

Anyways, Eshe has this program to encourage new builders that means you get a rebate on the cost of that sawmill recipe! I've attached it to this letter.

Don't spend it all in one place!
