All tools have four tiers: Makeshift, Standard, Fine, and Exquisite.
Players begin with Makeshift tools which can be upgraded at the Worktable with planks and metal bars.
The recipes for tool upgrades can be purchased at their corresponding Guild Stores upon reaching certain levels in that skill. Tools must be upgraded in ascending order since each upgrade requires the previous tier tool as one of the crafting materials.
The planks and metal bars needed for each tier of the upgrade are:
Tier | Materiais | Unlocked At |
---|---|---|
Standard | Skill Level 3 | |
Bom | Habilidade nível 6 | |
Exquisite | Habilidade nível 9 |
Durabilidade
All tiers except for Makeshift suffer from durability loss with use and must be repaired at a Repair Station.
- Standard has 1000 durability
- Fine has 2000 durability
- Exquisite has 3000 durability
Wear
For each tool you will lose:
- Pick: 4 durability per hit
- Fishing Rod: 18 durability per fish caught
- Bow: 7 durability per arrow shot
- Belt: 7 durability per smoke bomb
- Hoe: 10 durability per soil square cleared
- Watering Can: 5 durability per soil cell watered
- Axe: 4 durability per hit

Repairs
Tools can be repaired in three locations:
- At the Blacksmith anvil using
Gold as payment or
Repair Kits from player's inventory.
- At the Central Stables Fast Travel point in Bahari Bay using
Repair Kits from player's inventory.
- At a Repair Station on a Housing Plot using
Repair Kits from player's inventory and storage.
The cost of Gold or Repair Kits for a repair is proportional to how much durability loss the tool has suffered. Tool durability is displayed as a circular bar around the portrait of the tool. The durability bar is yellow-green when full or mostly full, and turns orange to red as it reaches full depletion. When the bar is fully depleted, the tool downgrades to the previous tier and must be re-upgraded at the Worktable.
