Walkthrough

1. You have found a Small Handheld Device while out and about in Kilima.
   • Location: On the floor of the tunnel outside the Temple of the Waves or from the Kilima Valley Rummage Pile.
2. According to Reth's letter, he needs to talk to you about it. Go talk to Reth.
3. You need some materials in order to fix the device. Obtain a Palium Bar and a Glass Pane
   • It takes  5 Palium Ore to make a Palium Bar and  10 Stone to create a Glass Pane.
   • Palium Ore can be Mined from nodes that spawn near cliff walls in Bahari Bay.
4. Take the items to Reth.
5. Either hide the tablet in the The Underground or return it to Zeki.
   • To hide the tablet: leave it on the ramp in The Underground leading up to Reth's Storeroom

You haven't happened to see a weird handheld device around the valley have you. It's square and shiny. The top is black, kind of like a mirror but it doesn't reflect anything? Uh...if you find anything like that, let me know. My life may depend on it.

... you know. The thing...the metal and black thing...that I wrote you a letter about.

Reth

You're gonna have to tell me what it does.

Reth

Okay, I'll tell you, but you gotta promise me you won't tell anyone else. Especially not Zeki.

Reth

Wow. You found it. This is my lucky day! No death for me. Unless it's by one of my own cooking recipes...

I found this baby in the back of Zeki's, and thought it couldn't hurt to check it out, but while I was looking at it I dropped it.

I tried to hide the evidence by hiding the device. I thought Zeki might just forget he had it.

But all he's been talking about for a week is how someone swiped it. He said he'd gonna turn the thief into a scratching post. You gotta help me, I'm too pretty to be a scratching post!

Great, if I could get some glass and some palium, I could probably fix this up.

Reth

I don't know...what do I have to offer? Food I guess. I'll cook you a dinner that you will never forget if you bring me some glass and some Palium.

Upon returning to Reth with the materials in your inventory

Reth

Okay, now that's all fixed up, I need you to bring the device to the Underground and plant it somewhere where Zeki will think he lost it.

Can you do that for me?

Player

Shouldn't you just tell Zeki the truth?

Reth

I know Zeki seems harmless, and deep down inside, he is, but the guys he's working with aren't.

Player

I am physically capable of that, yes.

Reth

You're honest, I get it, I respect that.

Zeki

You're telling me you didn't even know what this was?

I found this old human gaming tablet and fixed it up so it would run Heavy Metal Chapaa. I've been trying to beat my high score all week.

Honestly though, it's probably a good thing I lost it. I was gettin' kind of addicted and it was bad for productivity.

But now that I have it back, it's time to try and beat my high score.

Geez Louise. That is a ridiculous lie. I thought I would have earned more respect than that by now.

If you wanted to borrow my game, you could just asked you know? Or at least come up with a better cover story if you were plannin' on stealin' it.

Zeki

It was Reth, huh? I should have known not to trust that no good dirty soup slinger. Not only did he steal my game, but he had to go and erase all my save data!
