Make 'Em Sing is a Friendship Quest given by Tish for reaching Friendship Level 4: Close Confidant.

Description

Tish has a plan for helping Reth get free from the cartels. Meet up with her so you can get the low down.

Objectives

Part 1

• Talk to Tish so you can find out her plan.

Part 2

Tish needs help spying on Zeki so she can free Reth from the cartel. Get close to Zeki so you can place a singing stone in his bedroom.

• Get the key to Zeki's room. (Requires the Player to reach Friendship Level 3 with Zeki).
  • (Only appears if you are not yet at Friendship Level 3 with Zeki)

Part 3

Help Tish spy on Zeki in order to free Reth from the Grimalkin cartel.

• Place the singing stone in Zeki's bedroom.

Walkthrough

1. Read Tish's letter and go see what her plan is.
2. She wants you to befriend Zeki and place a Singing Stone in his room.
   • Tips for befriending Zeki:
     • If the player hasn't received Zeki's Key, they need to increase their Friendship with him to Level 3.
     • Gifting their Weekly Loved Wants gives the most friendship points!
     • Like all Grimalkin, Zeki loves Fish as well as dishes with fish.
3. Hiding the Singing Stone:

Hey...so I found out why Reth is working with the cartel, and it turns out it has to do with me. Could you come find me and we'll talk?

Tish

Dear (Player),
Um...so I found out my brother is working with the Grimalkin cartels and that you tried to hide it from me! Look, I know you were both trying to protect me, but I can take care of myself. In fact, I have a plan to help both of us get out of this mess, but I need your help. Come find me as soon as possible!

Tish

Dear (Player),
Um...so I found out my brother is working with Zeki's cartel. I understand why you didn't think it was your place to say anything, this stuff goes deep. Fortunately, I have a plan to help both of us get out of this mess, but I need your help. Come find me ASAP!

Good, you came. I was worried for a second you wouldn't...

I'm sure Reth told you this whole thing is my fault.

I was so stupid to think it really was just the fresh air that made me better.

I knew that people don't just...get better from the sort of sickness I had...

I should have known the glowing flower he told me to wear every day and never take off had secret healing properties!

What are you going to do?

Tish

I've got to figure out a way to get him out and you're gonna help me.

Player

Are you going to take the hair pin off?

Tish

Of course not! Killing myself wouldn't save my brother from the debt he owes.

I found this magic stone in Reth's things.

Based on what I found in the library, it's called a "singing stone" and it's a sort of listening device.

I want you to place it in Zeki's room.

That way we can listen in on him until we hear something that can get Reth out.

Player

Sounds stressful!

Tish

You've got to get close enough to him that he gives you a key to his room.

I've heard he's been trying to rope the Humans into some kinda "get rich quick" scheme.

Maybe you could pretend to be interested in that?

Player

Why don't you go yourself?

Tish

Zeki would smell what I'm up to from a mile away.

I don't want to get Reth into any worse trouble than he already is.

Conclusion

Upon returning to Tish after hiding the Singing Stone

Player

I placed the stone.

Tish

Great, now we just have to wait and see what we can learn.

I don't know if we can find a way to get my brother out of this mess.

But I know I couldn't do it without you.

Post-Quest

Optional Follow-up: Upon speaking to Tish

Tish

I didn't figure out a way to free Reth yet.

But I did learn that Zeki's apprentice, a Grimalkin named Zoraya, cheated him out of his fiscal freedom.

Maybe we could use that?

Tish

I haven't heard anything from the singing stone yet.

But I did learn that Zeki talks in his sleep has... very intense... dreams about carrots.

• The letter received from Tish may differ depending on the dialogue choices made during either Rage Redecoration or Secrets, Secrets
• If the Player already has Zeki's Key, the 2nd quest objective will not be shown. The quest will automatically direct the Player to place the singing stone in Zeki's's room.
