- Acquire decorations for the party.
- The items can be crafted via Furniture Making at level 3, but it may take several iterations of Inspiration to learn all the right blueprints.
- All of the items can be bought in Tish's Furniture Store, but it may take a full hour of logging out and back in the game to reset the stock to get them all.
- Once you have all the decorations, return to Eshe.
Dialogue and Mail
Introduction
Upon speaking to Kenyatta at your Housing Plot
- Kenyatta
- Hey. Not to be dramatic, but I think my mom's about to blow up my whole life.
- Player
- Oh no, what happened?
- Kenyatta
- She sent out invitations to my Path Declaration ball without telling me.
- Player
- That's not dramatic at all.
- Kenyatta
- This is like a five for me.
- Anyways, she sent out invitations to my Declaration ball without telling me.
- Player
- In a fun way or a bad way?
- Kenyatta
- My mom doesn't know what "fun" means.
- She sent out invitations to my Path Declaration ball without telling me.
- Player
- Haven't you declared your Path?
- Kenyatta
- No! Asking to be someone's apprentice is a whole thing. There's like fifty steps I've got to do!
- Chayne's usually pretty chill, but even he's not gonna just let me skip it all because I asked pretty please.
- The Ball's in a week, and now my mom's got me running around doing all these chores, helping her with the planning.
- Kenyatta
- You're like my best friend, so... I figured maybe you could help.
- Kenyatta
- You're kind of like my favorite person, and I was kind of hoping I was your favorite person too. Which means you'll want to help me out, right?
- Player
- Of course I'll help!
- Kenyatta
- Thank you. If you could go help my mom with the party planning, I'll have enough time to finish up the apprenticeship rituals before my Declaration.
- Player
- Say no more, I got you.
- Kenyatta
- I mean, I've kind of got to say a little more.
- If you could just go help my mom with the party planning, I'll have enough time to finish up the apprenticeship rituals before my Declaration.
- As long as she stays distracted with this party stuff, she won't be able to sabotage me.
- I'd better get back to it. Thanks Player! You're totally invited to the Declaration!
Progression
Upon speaking with Eshe
- Player
- Kenyatta asked me to help plan her party.
- Eshe
- I can't believe my daughter sent you in her place. What in the heavens is she doing at this hour anyway?
- Running around with that stable boy I imagine.
- Oh well, I'll let her get her last few hoorays in before she starts apprenticing with me.
- After her Declaration Ball, Kenyatta's life will be completely dedicated to public service.
- However, that is no excuse to let the home be an embarrassment.
- Here's a list of decorations I'll need for Kenyatta's Ball.
- We mustn't let the Duchess upstage us with young Eshelon's Ball after all.
Conclusion
Upon returning to Eshe
- Player
- I brought you the decorations.
- Eshe
- These are...acceptable.
- When you see my daughter, you can tell her she can have her fun now...
- ...but when the time comes, she had better be prepared to choose correctly!
- No daughter of mine will be caught gallivanting about when she should be hard at work.
Post-Quest
After completing the quest, you will receive a letter from Kenyatta
Dear (Player),
Guess who's the newest apprentice of healing for Kilima? I wouldn't have been able to do it without you, (Player). It's been a while since someone's believed in me as much as you do. So... y'know, thanks. I won't forget this.
Now that I'm an official apprentice, I'll be pretty busy, so try not to die. And if you do get hurt, take care of yourself with this.
Kenyatta
