Reth's Street Specialities during LNY

Reth's Street Specialties is a shop run by  Reth and found at the Fairgrounds in Kilima Valley only during the Maji Market event. It is located northwest of the large pavilion, along the north edge of the wooden dock and southwest of Delaila's Sweet Treats. It can be identified by the blue tent-style canopies that shelter some Standard Stoves and Prep Stations, along with several Campfires and tables topped with fresh meats, herbs and produce.

Services

Reth's Street Specialties sells a variety of sweet and savory items, along with other items that reflect the current market theme, that are only available during the Maji Market event.

Like other Consumables, the food items can be used to gain focus. When purchasing a food item, there is a chance the Player will receive a 'd version of the item, which can be placed as decor on the Player's Housing Plot.

Bugs

The Palia developers announced on their Discord server on 23rd February 2024 that there is an issue in which players are unable to obtain 'd versions of hotpot items, and this bug would be unable to be fixed in time before the Lunar New Year Event is over. This issue also extends to taiyaki items acquired from Zeki's Lucky Catch. They said they are looking for ways to grant it to players after the fact, that this has not been sorted yet, that more details of how this will be handled will be shared in a future notice, and that in the meantime, anyone logging in from Feburary 22nd to February 27th would receive:
