Summary

Chapaa Chase is the first cooperative minigame to be introduced as part of the Maji Market event.

Players can participate in this time-limited game at the Maji Market between 12:10 AM and 1:50 AM Palia time to earn Maji Market Tickets. During this time, players race to capture randomly appearing Chapaas and return them to the pen near the entrance of the fair.

How to Play

Run towards a Chapaa and press the / key when you are close enough to capture it. Then deliver the chapaa in your arms to the pen next to the Chapaa Hut. Simply coming close to the pen will automatically drop the creature into the pen and count towards your contributions. You cannot catch another chapaa until you've returned it. Catch as many Chapaa as you can during the chase.

At the end of the game, each player receives tickets based on the amount of chapaa caught by them and the total amount caught by the server.

Rewards

Every Chapaa the Player delivers will award 5 Maji Market Tickets, and all players are awarded a Group Bonus of 2 Maji Market Tickets per Chapaa caught during the chase. Tickets can be exchanged for rewards at Chapaa Chase Prizes, or any of the other Maji Market shops.

Every Chapaa the Player delivers will award 5 Lucky Envelopes, and all players are awarded a Group Bonus of 2 Lucky Envelopes per Chapaa caught during the chase. Envelopes can be exchanged for rewards at Chapaa Chase Prizes, or any of the other Luna New Year shops.

Every Chapaa the Player delivers will award 10 Chapaa Chase Tickets, and all players are awarded an additional 1 Chapaa Chase Ticket per Chapaa caught during the chase. Tickets can be exchanged for rewards at Chapaa Chase Prizes next to Kenyatta at the Chapaa Hut.

Players can also earn exclusive rewards from Stamp Cards by being in a party with other players during this minigame.

• Due to latency, chapaas may appear to be grabbed by a player behind you.

Update History

Build 0.167.2:

• More Chapaas now spawn at the beginning of the mini-game.
  
• 50% more Chapaas now spawn per wave, and with 20% more frequency.
  
• Increased the size of the spawn zones, and added more of them.
  
• Added 1 additional Chapaa Chase ticket for every Chapaa rescued per each player actively chasing Chapaas during that session. So if a whole group captures 100 total Chapaas, each player who captures at least 1 will get 100 extra tickets.
  

Based on these changes, we’re now able to catch around 300 Chapaas per night during each round.
