Furniture Making Skill
As The Player obtains recipes for furniture, they can craft pieces at a Worktable placed on the Housing Plot. This skill is introduced to the Player during the Welcome to Palia introductory quest and later expanded upon during Spiffy it Up, another of the first Main Quests.
During the Furniture Making process, it is possible for the Player to learn new recipes through Inspiration if all of the following criteria are met:
- First-Time - The item currently being crafted has never been crafted before.
- Part of a Set - The item currently being crafted belongs to one of the Furniture Sets that utilizes inspiration for discovering recipes.
- Unknown Recipes - The related furniture set still has one or more undiscovered recipes.

Level 10: Joining the Furniture Making Guild

You can help out by expanding it.Upon reaching Level 10 in Furniture Making, the Player will automatically be inducted into the Furniture Making Guild and be eligible to participate in Furniture Making-related Weekly Challenges that reward the Player with Furniture Making Medals. The Player can view active challenges and their current progress in them on the Accomplishments interface using the U key (PC). They will be situated at the top of the listing and identifiable by their beige-colored panels. These challenges are optional content, but the Player can use the awarded medals to purchase exclusive decorations items.

The recipes of this set are uniquely unlocked in three parts, by completely specific bundles of the Night Sky Temple.
Part 1: The Player must obtain the initial recipe by completing the Emberseeker's Bundle. The remaining recipes for the first group of furniture items can be discovered through inspiration.
Part 2: The Player must obtain the initial recipe by completing the temple's Stormseeker Bundle. The remaining recipes of the second grouping of furniture items can be discovered through inspiration.
Part 3: The Player must obtain the initial recipe by completing the temple's Rootseeker's Bundle. The remaining recipes of the third grouping of furniture items can be discovered through inspiration.
Flotsam Furniture Set
Each recipe for this furniture set must be salvaged from a Rummage Pile. These piles appear in a random location in Bahari Bay and can be looted once per real-life day.
Gourmet Decor Set
The initial recipes for this set are available for purchase from either the Inn Register located in the Tavern or the register at Reth's Bar located in The Underground. The remaining recipes for this set can be discovered through inspiration.
Kilima Rummage Piles Furniture Set
Each recipe for this furniture set must be salvaged from a Rummage Pile. These piles appear in a random location in Kilima Valley and can be looted once per real-life day. These piles are replaced with Chapaa Nests during the Winterlights event.
PalTech Furniture Set
The initial recipes for craftable items of this set are available for purchase from the Black Market Store register found in The Underground.
Spring Fever Furniture Set
The initial recipes for this set are available for purchase from the Crop Store register at the open-air stand found at the Daiya Family Farm.
The Order Furniture Set
The recipes for craftable items of this set are unlocked during Tish's Fit for a Watcher quest. The first four recipes are provided by Tish, while the rest of them are discovered through inspiration.
Winter Furniture Set
The recipes for craftable items of this set can only be obtained during the Winterlights event, from various sources. Some recipes are salvaged from Chapaa Nests that appear in random locations in Kilima Valley and can be looted once per real-life day. These nests replace Rummage Piles during the event. Other recipes are gifted by the Player's Shepp and later by other Villagers during the Winterlights Wonder quest. The remainder of the recipes are collected during Zeki's Winterfest Challenge.
Non-Set Furniture Items
- The recipe for the Mechanical Chapaa is learned from Najuma during the Survivor's Guilt quest.
- The recipes for the Short Enchanted Candle and Tall Enchanted Candle are both provided by Hodari as a reward for completing Say It Ain't Seance.
