Description

Currently, there are 13 different types of Building Elements in Palia. These items can be placed on the ground in a player's Housing Plot.

Pressing (default keybinding) to gain access to Housing Menu, opening an overview of the Housing Plot. Some of these Building Elements can only be placed in predetermined positions, always linked to one Harvest House. While other items can be placed freely as long as the section of the plot is clear.

Most Add-ons take 1 unit of the Building Limit, with the max capped at 30, including Gazebos Gazebos, Kilima Courtyard Kilima Courtyard, Kilima Pavilion Kilima Pavilion and Windmills Windmills. Placing Building Elements

While in the Housing Menu (), the Building Elements will appear in a box on the left side of the screen, from where they can be dragged on the available territory of the plot.

The green frame around the item indicates the position is available and it can be placed with a single click. A red frame indicates an obstacle (e.g. other housing items, a tree, or a rock) and the item can not be placed until the space is cleared. A pop-up message will also warn about it.

Most Building Elements must be attached to an existing construction (e.g. Harvest House Harvest House). When adding a Building Element to an existing structure, a green dot will show the linking point between the two parts, on one of the free sides of the rectangle. Keep in mind that if another construction is attached to one side of the existing building, the new room can not be placed there, until the space is free.

Gazebos Gazebos, Kilima Pavilions Kilima Pavilions and Windmills Windmills can be placed freely, as long as a section of the plot is clear.
